International Popstar Rihanna’s Pro-Farmers’ Tweet Brings Pro-Modi Lobby on Toes



NEW YORK, USA—Today, the entire pro-Modi lobby in India including Godi media and Bollywood celebrities came on toes after International pop-star Rihanna shared a news story about the seizure of internet services by the Indian government at farmers’ protest site in Delhi. Rihanna also shared the hashtag #FarmersProtest while posing a question that why they aren’t talking about this.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, a Barbadian singer, actor, and businesswoman has a huge fan following amounting to 101.1 million on Twitter. Within few hours, the effect of her tweet on farmers’ agitation in India started becoming visible when other noted International figures like Greta Thunberg also started tweeting in support of farmers’ agitation.

In this way, Rihanna’s tweet helped the farmers of India in projecting their plight internationally.

Pro-Modi Lobby on Toes

As soon as Rihanna’s tweet started circulating over social media in Indian circles, the pro-Modi lobby including Godi media and celebrities like Kangana Ranaut came on toes to hit out at Rihanna.

Re-tweeting Rihanna’s tweet, Kangana called her fool and dubbed protesting farmers as terrorists trying to divide India.

Interestingly, other Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan also emerged out this time to oppose Rihanna’s tweet while dubbing her tweet as a false propaganda against India.

Going one step ahead, the Godi media started cooking non-sense stories relating Rihanna with Khalistan ideology.

To appreciate Rihanna, Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has sung a song titled “RiRi” (Rihanna’s nickname) and uploaded over YouTube. In this song, Diljit has thanked God for creating a ‘pari (fairy)’ like her.
